Anglicanism is an Apostolic expression of the Christian church. It is a branch of the One, Holy, catholic, and Apostolic Church established by Jesus and the apostles.  In fact, English and Welsh Orthodoxy (Anglicanism), developed from the very beginning of the Christian faith in the British Isles and has endured to the present age, and now is thriving throughout the non-western world. English and Welsh Orthodoxy is inclusive of its Celtic origins, Patristic roots, the Medieval Church, the Protestant Reformation, the Wesleyan Evangelical Revival, the Oxford Movement, and the modern Charismatic renewal.
